Briefing of Roller mill

Roller mills are mills that use cylindrical rollers,either in pairs or against flat plates,to crush or grind various materials such as grains, ores,gravel, plastics,etc.Drum grain mills are an alternative to traditional grinding stone arrangements in mills.Roller mills for rock complement other types of mills, such as ball and hammer mills,in industries such as mining and processing of ore and construction aggregates; cement milling; and recycling.

Types

Twin Roller Mill the twin roller mill is the simplest type, where the material is crushed between two rollers before continuing on to its final destination.The spacing between these two rollers can be adjusted by the operator.Thinner pitches generally result in the material being crushed into smaller pieces.Four-Roll Mill A four-roll mill has two sets of rolls.When using a four-roller mill to grind grain,the grain first passes through the rollers with a large gap to separate the seeds from the chaff,which does not damage the chaff much,but leaves large grits.Flour is sieved from the broken grains,then the coarse grains and chaff are fed to a second set of drums that further crush the flour without damaging the husks.Similarly there are three roller mills where one roller is used twice.Five and Six Roller Mills A six-roller mill has three sets of rollers.When this type of mill is used on grain,the first set of rollers crushes the whole grain and its output is split in three ways: the flour is sent out of the mill immediately,the husk-free grit goes to the last roller,and the husks,which may still contain some of the seeds,go to the second set of rollers.Flour is output directly from the second drum,as is the husk and any seeds that may remain in it,and the huskless kibble is directed to the last drum.A five-roll mill is a six-roll mill in which one of the rollers does double duty.

Gristmill conversion 

In the 19th century,mills were converted into pulverizers before replacing them.The factory uses steel rolls or porcelain rolls.Between 1865 and 1872,the Hungarian milling industry upgraded and expanded the use of stone mills combined with roller mills,a process known as Hungarian high milling.In 1867 the Viennese bakery at the Paris Exposition achieved a "world's first" success, claiming that Hungarian durum wheat was so milled indispensable.

Working principle

The motor or other prime mover drives the roller hanger to rotate through the V-belt pulley and the center bearing.The rollers suspended by the bearings and the pendulum roll along the inner circle of the roller ring when the hanger rotates.The dust removal fan will generate negative pressure at the inlet and outlet of the pulverizer to prevent dust and dissipate heat inside the machine.
